Tongues have been wagging about this place for some time now. Not only is this Tacqueria, bar and hugely hip meeting place considered ueber trendy but Candelaria won tons of awards in 2012 & 2013 for the quality of its food and drinks. We almost used a blown up photo of their delicious plantain and bacon taco to illustrate this ‘foody’ find, but then we considered that it just wouldn’t do justice to all the other aspects that have made this place what it is. Notably the Ambiance. The place has extracted superlatives from the natives for this and created a buzz through its regular DJ sessions whilst simultaneously sipping super fresh exotic cocktails; (yes, cocktails again! But these are fast replacing the erstwhile wine bars that Paris was once so famous for). Their Facebook page is littered with cool flyers; which is why we are including it below, but if you want to taste one of the best Mexican treats in Paris, there is really only one place to go. Open till 11pm or 12 pm depending on the night and Brunch on the weekends is served from 12,30 – 4,30 pm. Arriba!
