As with the brain, which enables information and sensorial experience to travel from one neuron to another via the synapse, a place can sometimes recreate this same arrangement of bursting “electric” flow in a similar way. This place is the Electric, situated by Paris’ Porte de Versailles. This enormous space, facing the Eiffel tower, focuses on state of the art multimedia-cross-disciplinary events and lends itself to some of the most spectacular show cases that one can experience in Paris in terms of savoir-faire… the scope of which is limited by ones imagination only. An enormous outdoor area and adjoining balcony form a location of mesmerizing distinction and proportions; all this arranged around a tree made out of fibreglass. Here, you might well expect your jaw to drop with the video projection & lighting system offering incredible scope for “mapping” for any event ….. Divinely extravagant.
