We have now been up and running for a little while. We are constantly evolving, « tweaking » and trying to make the right decisions in terms of the editorial direction which best reflects us.
The articles seen here are selected for their pertinence and for what we consider to be outstanding « elements » of the Parisian scene. In the future, we wont be limiting these articles to Paris or even France alone. The creative process, to us, is about a « cross pollination of trends ». All across the board. To us, it is more about unifying common threads on a much larger scale; tapping into central themes and cultural directions everywhere; pointing out that which affects us in a unique way… We will be focusing on the bigger picture in the future. This is how is how we intend to pursue with Paris Papers..
Back to the articles and content of Paris papers; NONE of the articles are sponsored links or provide us with any financial « reward ». Aside from merely passing on informative selections; what we consider to be interesting, we just like to point out authentic aspects that revolve around the contemporary Parisian scene. We will someday perhaps include, discretely, ads that aim to complement these posts. This is what we will have to do if we want to keep on posting items to a keen, literate and demanding public. Certain click through ads, we feel, are not coherent with our graphic interface in the long term.
We will slowly be carving out more time for this site, (and no, we do not nurture this little site exclusively; we use the little free time we have available, so that Paris Papers can flourish), however, we eventually DO want to focus on our blog more exclusively.
We will be developing a page around certain key players in Paris; the « Paris People section » (under construction) as well as aspiring to a more tech-rich agenda in the future. For the moment, we rely on our Facebook page for this. So far, we have attempted to grow on in a more « organic » way ; focusing on quirky and whimsical items. From all our research and endeavors, a certain personality has been forged. With it, an element of humour and irony has emerged. Updates, playlists and and specialist themes will be featured here on the « Buzz » page very soon. That’s it. In the mean time, follow the link below.
